(Davenport, IA) -- Engineers in charge of the National Weather Service radio station in Cedar Rapids that went on the fritz over a week ago, hope to have the station back on the air this week.

Rich Kinney with the National Weather Service in Davenport says they thought it would be mid-May before they could get parts to repair the antenna, but they were able to get the hardware faster than expected.
