(Ames, IA) -- Police in Ames are investigating a stabbing that left one male victim wounded. The Ames Police Department says in a release the stabbing happened in the 1100 block of Delaware Avenue in Ames at around 1:30 PM on Saturday. No word on a suspect, but investigators do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
