(Marion, IA) -- Another suspect accused of being involved in the killing a Marion woman in February is pleading not guilty.

Dakota Van Patten made the plea Wednesday. He's facing first degree murder and first degree kidnapping charges in the death of Melody Hoffman. Van Patten is accused of helping his friend, McKinley Louisma kill Hoffman and dump her body at Amana Lily Lake. Investigators say multiple pieces of evidence tie Van Patten to the murder. His trial date has not yet been set.

The third suspect, Logan Kimpton, has also pled not guilty.
