(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A second man is facing charges in connection with the death of a woman from Marion.

The Linn County Attorney's Office says 18-year-old Dakota Van Patten has been charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping in the death of Melody Hoffman.

Investigators say Hoffman was kidnapped from Morgan Creek Park on Saturday. Her body was found at Amana Lily Lake Sunday.

Yesterday, prosecutors asked for an increase in bail for twenty-three-year-old McKinley Louisma. He's also facing kidnapping and conspiracy charges in connection with Hoffman's death.
