(Marion, IA) -- Marion City Council agreed with Fire Chief Tom Fagan last night that Marion needs a Community Emergency Response Team.

The CERT team will start with 15 community volunteers trained to provide disaster response and rescue during events like the derecho, or active shooter situations.
