Iowa Gas Prices Holding Steady to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are holding steady to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.69 a gallon, down just two cents from this time a week ago. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $2.58
  • Ames: $2.82
  • Cedar Rapids: $2.73
  • Iowa City: $2.82
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.66
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.09
  • Dubuque: $2.88
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $2.73
  • Sioux City: $2.63
  • Council Bluffs: $2.61

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.07 a gallon.
