Iowa Gas Prices Down to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are down to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded is $2.71 a gallon, down 7 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $2.64
  • Ames: $2.83
  • Cedar Rapids: $2.73
  • Iowa City: $2.82
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.67
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.07
  • Dubuque: $2.89
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $2.77
  • Sioux City: $2.66
  • Council Bluffs: $2.62

The national average price for regular unleaded is $3.06 a gallon.
