Governor Pillen Declares State of Emergency for Nebraska

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning until noon on Tuesday.

(Lincoln, NE) -- Governor Jim Pillen has declared a State of Emergency in Nebraska because of the heavy snow and dangerous driving conditions, and asks drivers to stay off the roads particularly in Eastern Nebraska. Nebraska 511 has information about closed or impassable roads, which are widespread through much of Nebraska.

The National Weather Service has also issued a wind chill warning until 12 PM on Tuesday.
