(Moline, IL) -- A Quad Cities resident gets his missing bear statue back.

On December 21st, Don Ziegler found his six-foot-tall, 500-pound wooden bear statue which he bought in 1996, had been stolen from his driveway.

Video footage from a neighbor's home security camera captured the theft but wasn't able to identify the suspect.

Ziegler took to Facebook as a way to locate the statue and also contacted his insurance agent, who said she saw the statue show up in her neighborhood just a few days after it was reported stolen.

She contacted police and the statue was safely returned to Ziegler's home.

Law enforcement is continuing to investigate.
