New Information Of Two-Car Crash That Killed Four People

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- There is new information about a two-car collision that killed four people earlier this month.

Cedar Rapids police say "excessive speed" was a reason for the fatal crash.

The crash occurred on December 1st at the intersection of Thomas Edison Boulevard and Beth Page Drive.

Fifty-two-year-old Ruth Tekeste and her 13-year-old son, Buruk Mehari were in a 2010 Honda Pilot, and 18-year-olds Casey Krager and Carter Cooper were in a 2006 Chevy Impala.

Investigators are still figuring out the cause of the crash.
