University Of Iowa Healthcare Renames Mercy Iowa City And Remodels Branding

(Iowa City, IA) -- The University of Iowa Health Care is renaming Mercy Iowa City and remodeling its branding for next year.

Announced Thursday, Mercy Hospital will now be called "University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown."

In November, a bankruptcy court allowed UI Health Care to buy Mercy Iowa City.

UI Health Care also announced new logos for UI Health Care, the UI Carver College of Medicine, UI Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital, and UI Health Care Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
