Apartment Complex For Low-Income Residents Opens In Moline

(Moline, IL) -- A new apartment complex for low-income residents is now open in Moline.

A ribbon ceremony was held Thursday by members of the Moline Housing Authority for the Spring Valley Village Apartments.

The complex has 18 buildings totaling 182 units, including one, two, and three and four-bedroom units.

With hundreds of Moline members on the waitlist for affordable housing, the opening is coming at an important time.

The Moline Housing Authority is waiting to be granted funding for two more affordable housing complexes.
