Retired Nebraska Federal Judge Remembered

A former Nebraska federal judge is being remembered.

Lyle E. Strom passes away at the age of 98.

Strom served as Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the federal district of Nebraska from 1987 to 1994, but he continued to serve as a Senior Judge in a semi-retired role until he was 92.

President Reagan appointed the Omaha private practice attorney to the federal judiciary.
