(Davenport, IA) -- Two people are recovering after a chase and crash in Davenport.

The Iowa State Patrol says 28-year-old Dayshaun Rias of Davenport, driving a 1988 Suzuki motorcycle was eluding officers and failed to yield the right-of-way Thursday at around 10:20 p.m. at West 2nd and Gaines Streets.

The failure to yield resulted in a collision with 25-year-old Ryan Harris driving a 2016 Dodge Dart.

Harris was not injured in the crash but Rias and a passenger in the car, 26-year-old Jessica Brady of Davenport, were hurt and taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
