Nebraska Flags To Honor Rosalynn Carter

Governor Jim Pillen, in accordance with a request from the White House, announces that all U.S. and Nebraska flags be flown at half-staff to honor former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.

The order is effective this Saturday, Nov. 25th, until sunset on the day of Mrs. Carter’s interment, Wednesday, Nov. 29th.

By order of the President, flags at U.S. Government buildings and military bases will also be flown at half-staff.

The former First Lady will be buried in Plains, Georgia, the hometown she shared with her husband, former President Jimmy Carter.

Rosalynn Carter passed away last weekend at the age of 96.
