(Bettendorf, IA) -- Bettendorf firefighters remain on the scene Tuesday morning of a fire at a local foundry Monday night. Crews responded to a 911 call at Sivyer Steel Castings on 33rd Street in Bettendorf around 9:00 p.m. last night. Five employees were evacuated as heavy fire engulfed the building. Crews from Davenport and LeClaire assisted in putting out the fire. Investigators are now working to determine the cause.
