Omaha National Weather Service Meteorologists at the weather office in Valley say the better chances of rain in the Omaha/Council Bluffs region are expected through the weekend, with shower and thunderstorm development possible Thursday afternoon and evening through Sunday.
A few strong to severe storms, as well as heavy rain, are possible.
They say temperatures will be seasonable to slightly below normal.
