(Iowa City, IA) -- Iowa City will soon hold two open houses about zoning for accessory apartments. Those are small apartment units in homes, or in or above garages. The city says zoning changes to allow more accessory apartments would help increase housing supply.
The open houses will be held:
- Wednesday, September 13th from 5-7p.m. at Terry Trueblood Park Lodges
- Thursday, September 14th from 5-7pm at the Iowa City Public Library
