Omaha Van Heat Death Suspect Makes Bond

The man charged in the death of a one-year-old girl left in a hot daycare van in central Omaha bonded out of Douglas County Corrections early Thursday morning.

62-year old Ryan Williams appeared Wednesday in Douglas County Court, charged with child abuse by neglect resulting in death, and bond was set at 50-thousand dollars.

Investigators say Williams was driving a van for "Kidz of the Future Childcare" at 50th and Leavenworth Streets when he left Ra'Miyah Worthington inside the van by herself for several hours Monday afternoon.

Police say when she was found her internal body temperature was 109 degrees.

Williams's next court date is September 26th.
