(Davenport, IA) -- A suspicious absence and the smell of bleach. Those were two clues officers testified yesterday were key in investigating Henry Dinkins for the murder of Breasia Terrell. A Scott County courtroom heard an officer testify he found it odd Dinkins left the scene the morning he responded to the call that Breasia was missing. A detective pregnant at the time of the investigation testified she was overly sensitive to the smell of bleach in the trunk of Dinkins car when he submitted it for a search. The bench trial of Dinkins on charges of the kidnapping and murder of 10 year-old Breasia Terrell in 2020 continues in Davenport today.
