Des Moines PD Asking For Tips After False Bomb Threat Downtown

(Des Moines, IA) -- Police are looking for a man who they say threatened to blow up a downtown Des Moines convenience store Wednesday night. Police say a man refused to leave a storage room, telling employees and customers he placed a bomb in the store. Employees found a suspicious-looking item, the Bomb Squad took it out and determined there was no danger. Police are looking for the suspect and asking the public to help identify the man.
