(Moline, IL) -- Moline Police are looking for school crossing guards before students return to class August 25th. Nine new crossing guards are needed at key intersections in the city. Moline has been unable to replace 11 of the 20 crossing guards they lost during the COVID pandemic. They want parents to understand that the presence of crossing guards will be limited until they can fill the open positions. Those interested in becoming a crossing guard can apply on the City of Moline website.
