Johnson County Social Services Infant, Toddler Scholarship Program Is Open

(Iowa City, IA) -- Applications are open for the Johnson County Social Services Infant and Toddler Scholarship Program.

The program helps locals pay for early education.

To qualify, children must be younger than 3-years-old by September 15 and families must meet income, employment, and quality rating requirements.

Funds can't be used to replace Head Start slots or Child Care Assistance funding.

Applications are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The funding comes from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act.
