(Davenport, IA) -- Governor Kim Reynolds is sending President Biden another emergency declaration request related to the partial collapse of 324 Main Street in Davenport. Reynolds says the government hasn't responded to the first request, so she sent another on Tuesday. Reynolds is asking for federal assistance cleaning up the site and assisting everyone that's been affected. In her request, Reynolds says the cost of that relief would be between $5-million and $6-million dollars. Right now the City of Davenport is offering thousands of dollars in relief to people that lived in the building. There's also federal assistance available to business owners affected by the collapse.
