(Omaha, NE) -- This happy ending is a puppy dog tale.
Omaha Police Recruit Officer Bradley climbed into a deep hole to rescue a puppy that fell in.
OPD Tweeted the tale with a photo of Officer Bradley and the puppy's owner, who is holding the rescued dog. The puppy, named Roxy fell into a five foot hole and couldn't get out. The dog's owner was unable to climb into the hole, so Officer Bradley did.
Thousands of people have seen the Tweet, and a few commented thanking Officer Bradley. One person Tweeted that they remember Officer Bradley giving them their first traffic citation, but added that she's pretty cool, and doing a good job.
