Iowa Gas Prices Fall Slightly to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa fall slightly to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.35, down three cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.30
  • Ames: $3.36
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.37
  • Iowa City: $3.41
  • Dubuque: $3.47
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.40
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.34
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.74
  • Sioux City: $3.40
  • Council Bluffs: $3.23

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded nationally is $3.55 a gallon.
