(Des Moines, IA) -- The 2023 Greek Food Fair at St. George Greek Orthodox Church on 35th Street in Des Moines saw an increase in participation this year.
"This year's been extremely busy," said Nick Nopoulos, saying the menu is the same as in past years, along with a large dessert selection. "The big difference is that we've been able to use (credit) cards this year, sales have been happening because of that." He said additionally the weather has been very cooperative for outdoor activities centered around the fair.
The annual festival celebrating Greek culture and Greek Orthodox faith was held for the 43rd year in 2023.
