DeSantis Campaigns In Iowa

(Sergeant Bluff, IA) -- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is campaigning across Iowa this week, and Wednesday morning he spoke at Port Neal in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. DeSantis was also scheduled to visit Council Bluffs, Pella, and Cedar Rapids. He head to New Hampshire tomorrow (Thursday) and South Carolina Friday. DeSantis spoke at a church in Clive Tuesday night.

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive in Des Moines tonight, and has two events Thursday in the Des Moines area.

Vice President Mike Pence has plans to announce he's formally entering the 2024 Presidential race next week June 7th, in Des Moines. Pence is scheduled to be part of a CNN Town Hall event that same day at Grandview University in Des Moines.

Multiple GOP candidates will attend this weekend's Roast and Ride event, an annual veterans fundraiser hosted by U.S. Senator Joni Ernst. The motorcycle ride begins Saturday morning, followed by a political rally at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Candidates planning on attending include: Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Larry Elder, Vivek Ramaswamy, Asa Hutchinson, and Perry Johnson plan to attend, as well as former Vice President Mike Pence.
