More Than 36,000 Flags Placed At Rock Island National Cemetery

(Rock Island, IL) -- Volunteers place more than 36,000 flags at the Rock Island National Cemetery for Memorial Day.

The flags were set at graves to pay respects to fallen service members.

Quad Cities residents are invited to the Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

The event begins at 10:45 a.m.
