MidAmerican Energy Employees in Ankeny Clean Up 3 Truckloads of Trash

(Ankeny, IA) -- The city of Ankeny says a group of MidAmerican Energy employes cleaned up three truckloads of trash last week.

The group of volunteers worked between SW 11th Street and SW Des Moines Street. The city says anyone who wants to organize a group cleanup event in Ankeny can do so by contacting Stormwater and Environmental Manager Becky Ford either by email at bford@ankenyiowa.gov or by phone at (515)933-3526.

The city says cleanup kits that include gloves and trash bags are available to those who want to organize a cleanup event.
