(Omaha, NE) -- A man accused of killing his wife in an April car crash near Carter Lake is arrested.

On Monday, the Metro Fugitive Task Force located Pierre Brayman and took him into custody. Omaha Police say the evening of April 26th, officers were called to Carter Lake Shore Drive & Cornish Blvd for a single vehicle crash. Investigators say a Ford F-150 was northbound on Carter Lake Shore Drive when it left the roadway and rolled. Police say the passenger, 37 year old Tiffany Baryman, was ejected from the truck and was transported to Nebraska Medicine, where she died.

OPD say Pierre Brayman was driving the pickup truck at the time of the crash and fled the scene on foot before officers arrived. Speed and alcohol are considered factors in the crash. Charges are pending.
