(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A new study shows the benefits of urban trees in Cedar Rapids.

The data from Climate Central says nearly five million pounds of air pollution a year was absorbed by trees in Cedar Rapids.

The study also shows about 90 million gallons of storm runoff water was avoided and more than 100 thousand tons of carbon pollution was removed from the air every year.
