(Rock Island, IL) -- A man is in the hospital after being shot this weekend in Rock Island.
Rock Island Police responded to a report of shots fired near 7th Avenue early Saturday morning where they only were able to find evidence of gunfire.
Later East Moline Police found a 20-year-old man with gunshot wounds at the Crowne Forest apartment complex in East Moline.
Officials in Rock Island say the victim was shot near the Avenue in Rock Island and was driven to the apartment complex in east Moline where police found him.
Police say the shooting is under investigation and ask anyone with information to contact the Rock Island Police Department.
