(Council Bluffs, IA) -- A man is arrested following a standoff at a Council Bluffs gas station.

Council Bluffs Police say a Pottawattamie County identified the driver of a white Chevy Silverado, reported as stolen, as 38-year-old Jake Flynn.

Flynn had two felony and two misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. He pulled into the parking lot of the Mega Saver near Ninth Avenue and South 36th Street.

Flynn was trying to buy alcohol when officers walked into the store. Witnesses say without any interaction with officers, Flynn barricaded himself in a beer cooler.

After around two and a half hours, law enforcement took Flynn into custody.

There were no injuries from the standoff.
