Omaha Shooting Death Suspect In Custody

A woman will make an initial appearance in Douglas County Court in connection with a weekend shooting death in downtown Omaha.

Police were called to the area of 10th and Capitol Avenue early Sunday morning and found 23-year-old Gom Gout suffering from gunshot wounds.

He later died at a hospital, and police say 24-year-old Keloni Jones was later booked on suspicion of second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Investigators say there was a fight involving a large group of people before the shooting.
