(Des Moines, IA) -- "Patch" is the 2023 winner of the Beautiful Bulldog Contest at Drake University. The annual contest kicks off a week-long of Drake Relays event. Patch will serve a year-long reign as the Drake Relays mascot, attending numerous events. Patch is owned by Jennifer Hinton and Joel Kornder of Johnston.
Other contestants were awarded prizes for Drake Spirit, Best Dressed, Rescue Dog Recognition, Porterhouse People's Choice, Second Runner-Up, Runner-Up, and Most Beautiful Bulldog.
