Iowa Gas Prices Holding Steady to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are holding steady to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.51 a gallon, down 1 cent from this time last week. That is still 33 cents higher from this time last month. Prices for a gallon of regular unleaded vary regionally across the state:

  • Des Moines: $3.50
  • Ames: $3.58
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.50
  • Iowa City: $3.53
  • Dubuque: $3.59
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.45
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.82
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.55
  • Council Bluffs: $3.51
  • Sioux City: $3.52

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.66 a gallon.
