(Grimes, IA) -- The Johnson-Grimes Municipal Fire Department will conduct a controlled burn today.
The burn is scheduled to start around 1pm on the northeast side of Grimes. Smoke in the air may be visible during the burn, but the city of Grimes says there's no cause for alarm, as the burn will be controlled. The burn is expected to last a few hours.
