(Lincoln, NE) -- A Milford woman is in custody, accused of causing two crashes after drunk driving the wrong way down I-80.

The Nebraska State Patrol says 34-year-old Heather Teschendorf was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes near mile marker 391 just before midnight on Saturday. They say a car and a semi collided as a result. Then, near mile marker 397, Teschendorf struck another vehicle.

NSP says Teschendorf and another driver were treated for minor injuries. They say Teschendorf spat on a trooper’s face and was physically combative at the hospital.

She’s charged with driving under the influence, willful reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, assault on a public safety officer with bodily fluid, failure to submit to a pretest, and resisting arrest.
