Carter Lake will conduct an active shooter drill this Wednesday afternoon at Carter Lake Elementary School.
The drill will be from three p.m. to five p.m.
School is not in session with spring break going on.
The drill will include volunteer staff and students.
Streets near the school, which is at 1000 Willow Drive, will be closed.
Participating agencies include:
- Carter Lake Fire Department
- Carter Lake Police Department
- Carter Lake Emergency Management
- The Council Bluffs Community School District and its Carter Lake Elementary
