Fans Can Watch NCAA Teams Practice In Des Moines Wednesday

(Des Moines, IA) -- If you don't have tickets to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney in Des Moines Thursday and Friday, you can catch a glimpse of the teams during practice. The eight teams will get about a half hour on the court Wednesday at Wells Fargo Arena. Practice sessions begin at 11 o'clock and will end at 6 p.m.

Teams are assigned to practice at several gyms in the metro area leading up to the the tourney, but Wednesday each team will get some time to get used to Wells Fargo Arena.

Practice Schedule Wednesday:

11 to 11:40 a.m. — Howard

11:45 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. — Illinois

12:30 to 1:10 p.m. — Kansas

1:15 to 1:55 p.m. — Arkansas

3:25 to 4:05 p.m. — Texas

4:10 to 4:50 p.m. — Texas A&M

4:55 to 5:35 p.m. — Colgate

5:40 to 6:20 p.m. — Penn State

The practice sessions are free and open to the public. Parking in the Iowa Events Center lots will be free as well on this day.

Concessions and merchandise stands will be open.
