OPD: Several People Assaulted in West Omaha Bank Robbery

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police say several people were assaulted during an armed bank robbery.

OPD says just before 11:30 Thursday morning, officers were called to the First National Bank near 175th and Center for an armed robbery. Investigators say employees told officers that two suspects, armed with handguns, entered the bank, assaulted several people and demanded money.

Police say the suspects fled in a white minivan. Officers located the van, abandoned, nearby, but the suspects have not been located.
