The Omaha office of the National Weather Service says a winter storm will continue to impact the area today with additional snow and ice accumulations generally along and north of U.S. Highway 30.
Many roads in northeast Nebraska are already covered with snow or ice making travel difficult, and the weather service says consider delaying travel in those areas, if possible.
Mixed precipitation means a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. including the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metro and Lincoln.
Douglas, Sarpy, Pottawattamie, Lancaster and Saline Counties are included.
