(Undated) -- The Cy-Hawk football series will be played at least through 2027. Today Iowa and Iowa State extended their contract two more years. The Hawkeyes will host the game in Iowa City on September 12th, 2026 and the Cyclones will host it in Ames on September 11th, 2027. The Cy-Hawk game has been played every year since 1977, except during coronavirus in 2020. Iowa leads the series 46-23.
