(Clive, IA) -- A Des Moines man is $100,000 richer after winning the top prize in a $10 dollar scratch game.

40-year-old Jared Frost tells the Iowa Lottery he didn't know who to call first. Frost called his wife, Lisa, when he won the prize, who said, "No! You did not!" Frost says he called his dad next.

"I called my dad and he goes, 'You're lying through your teeth! It's one of those joke ones! You didn't win!'"

The two wouldn't believe Frost until he sent them pictures of the winning ticket. Jared and Lisa plan to save the winnings for now, but are thinking about taking a vacation in the spring.

"We got married a little over a year ago and we didn't have a honeymoon, so we're thinking about taking a little trip after the dust settles," said Frost.

He collected his winnings from the Iowa Lottery's "When It's Gold Outside" scratch game Monday. Frost bought four tickets at Git N Go at 5736 Franklin Ave in Des Moines.
