(Dixon, IL) -- The Dixon Police Department says a man is dead after a fight inside a moving car.
Police say officers responded to reports of the incident around 1:30 Saturday morning, September 24th, in the 1200 block of Palmyra Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found 28 year-old Yishmael Sneed with serious injuries, and he was rushed to an area hospital where he later died of his injuries. Investigators say a fight broke out between Sneed and the driver of the car he was in while it was moving. Sneed exited the car while it was moving, though it's unclear if he was pushed out or jumped out voluntarily. The driver has been identified as 39 year-old Derrick Flynn. He's been arrested and faces multiple charges.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
