A classic Nebraska home football weekend is here featuring some old friends from Norman, Oklahoma, and a well-rehearsed system for traffic will again swing into action.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation and law enforcement remind Husker fans of the usual traffic patterns to and from Lincoln for the Oklahoma game Saturday.
As usual, NDOT says drivers from the east on I-80 should take exit 401 to southbound Interstate 180 into downtown Lincoln and the city campus.
Drivers arriving in Lincoln on I-80 from the west should take exit 397 to Rosa Parks Way into downtown Lincoln.
As usual, the U.S. Highway 6 to I-80 eastbound ramp at Waverly is closed with heavy interstate traffic buildup back toward the Omaha metro.
