Des Moines Police Asking for Public's Help on Armed Robbery Suspect

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify an armed robbery suspect. They say the pictured man robbed five Dollar General stores in the Des Moines metro.

The dates and locations of the robberies are the following:

  • April 15th, 2022: 1428 E. Ovid Avenue, Des Moines
  • April 17th, 2022: 3102 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines
  • April 23rd, 2022: 1428 E. Ovid Avenue, Des Moines
  • April 29th, 2022: 2309 E. 42nd Street, Des Moines
  • May 4th, 2022: 5935 Merle Hay Road, Johnston

Police say the man displayed a handgun in each robbery.

Those with information regarding the identify of the suspect and/or their whereabouts are being asked to reach out to Des Moines Police Department detectives at (515) 237-1512. People can also submit tips through the Crimestoppers of Central Iowa online, or at (515) 223-1400.

Rewards are available for tips leading to the man's arrest.
