(Undated) -- Casey's is denying allegations that it doesn't pay their delivery drivers enough to cover car-related expenses.

A federal lawsuit says the flat rate Casey's pays their drivers of $2 per delivery actually shortchanges them around 23-cents per mile, according to Iowa Capital Dispatch. This is because Casey's reportedly doesn't reimburse drivers for gas or other repairs.

A similar case was filed against a Davenport Papa John's franchise in 2015, which was settled out of court.
