Des Moines Police: No Injuries After House Hit by Gunfire Tuesday Morning

(Des Moines, Iowa) -- Des Moines Police say no one is hurt after a house was hit by bullets early Tuesday morning.

Police say they received multiple 9-1-1 calls around 3:00 a.m. in the 1600 block of 7th Street, not far from the Grubb YMCA. Officers in the area reported hearing shots at that same time. When police responded, they found a house and car had been hit by gunfire and evidence that over 30 rounds were fired during the shooting.

So far no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made.
